Are you accepting new clients?

Yes! We’re currently accepting new facial and waxing clients. Please review the service menu and book the new client consultation that best fits your needs to get started.

I’ve had a chemical peel before—can I just book one?

Not just yet! All clients must begin with either a New Client Consultation or Acne Evaluation (the only exception is the express facial paired with a Brazilian wax). This gives us a chance to properly assess your skin, review your current routine, and recommend a treatment plan that delivers real results in the shortest amount of time.

Can I get dermaplaning as a new client?

Dermaplaning is not available for new clients or those with moderate to severe acne. Once we’ve established your skin’s needs, dermaplaning can be added to the Signature Glow Facial or paired with any chemical peel treatment.

Do I need to complete a consultation before starting a treatment series?

Yes. Every treatment series begins with a New Client Consultation or Acne Evaluation. That’s where we create your customized treatment plan based on your skin goals, condition, and commitment level.

Can I pay per session instead of committing to a full series?

Absolutely! You’re welcome to pay per visit. That said, 95% of our clients reach their skin goals faster with a treatment series. Series packages include complimentary home care products, flexible payment plans, and access to a dedicated client portal to track your skin’s progress.

Do you offer chemical peels that don’t require prep?

Yes! Our Classic Peels don’t require extensive prep, though we recommend stopping any Vitamin A or acid-based products 7 days before your appointment. For best results, using the recommended home care is strongly encouraged.

What’s your cancellation policy?

We require 48 hours’ notice for any appointment changes—including rescheduling, canceling, or modifying your service. Changes made within 48 hours are subject to a fee up to the full cost of the service.

No-call, no-show appointments will be charged in full and lose access to online booking.

Where are you located?

Detroit Skintique is located inside The Skin Collective, on the corner of 14 Mile and Middlebelt Road in West Bloomfield, MI. There is ample free parking surrounding the building.
